Among the most innovative features of New Auto Protection, AXA highlights the "expansion of Natural Events coverage" , which now includes direct material damage to the insured vehicle resulting from an earthquake, with a compensation limit of 10,000 euros. If the customer also decides to have the repair carried out at an AXA-approved body shop, they will see the excess and minimums in the policy reduced by 50%. The range of assistance formulas has also been revised with a view to simplification, now consisting of only two: the entry-level coverage, integrated "in terms of concrete content closer to people's needs" , and Assistance Plus , which provides a capital of up to 1,000 euros available in the event of an accident or breakdown, for a maximum of three claims per year.
