The iPhone X and Huawei Mate 10 Pro are undoubtedly the two smartphones of the moment. With the launch of the iPhone X, Apple is trying to imagine the smartphone of the future, while with the Mate 10 Pro, Huawei has rightfully entered the select circle of high-end smartphone manufacturers. The concept that distinguishes these two new objects of desire is artificial intelligence, which, while chosen as the guiding principle for the launch of the Mate 10 Pro, is certainly not absent from Apple's latest creation. Facial recognition, photo exposure adjustment based on different conditions, and improved Siri voice assistant are some of the features that also bring Apple's product closer to the concept of AI. Huawei, for its part, is still aiming to maintain a high level of camera performance, which at 20 megapixels far surpasses Apple's, which only has 12. For some, however, this difference doesn't impact photo quality, and we can partially confirm this, also pointing out how, for example, the iPhone X's portrait retouching is particularly successful. And let's not forget that Apple is introducing OLED for smartphone displays, making it difficult for other competitors to match photo and video playback. Now let's take a detailed look at the features of the two smartphones, which shouldn't lose their top-of-the-line status on the mobile market for several months:

As for prices, especially for the Huawei, there are already offers that can lower the price by at least €100. In any case, the iPhone X remains about €300 more expensive and even surpasses the psychological €1,000 threshold. But is all this money worth it? After all, these are sums that are no longer spent even on laptops. Let's say that in both cases, the technology used could justify the prices, and the feeling remains that these models will mark a milestone in the evolution of the smartphone market. And innovation, as we know, comes at a price.
